This guide explains how Mostplay app updates usually work for an APK installed from the brand site, how to update cleanly, and when a full reinstall is the better fix. How updates reach you
The short answer: often the app tells you, and sometimes you need to check. Apps installed from outside Google Play do not always update in the background. You may see a prompt inside the app, or the login screen may ask you to download a newer version.
If you are unsure, open a working Mostplay address in your browser and look at the install icon. Downloading from there gets you whatever version the brand currently offers. Avoid update links that arrive in messages, even if they look official.

These symptoms often point to an outdated app rather than a problem with your account.

Clearing cache and reinstalling
Before reinstalling, try clearing the cache: open Settings, Apps, Mostplay, Storage, then Clear cache. That removes temporary files without logging you out of anything important. Clear data goes further and will sign you out.
