Wagering requirements are the follow-on rule of the bonus world: confusing at first, perfectly logical once someone explains them. Every bonus comes with one, and it decides whether an offer is generous or just looks it. We could not confirm the wagering rules for Mostplay promotions, because each offer sets its own and the terms sit behind login. This guide explains what wagering means, works through an example, and shows you what to look for in any Mostplay offer.
What wagering means
The short answer: it is the total you must bet before bonus money can be withdrawn. If a ৳500 bonus has a 20x requirement on the bonus, you must place ৳10,000 in bets. It does not mean you lose ৳10,000; your balance goes up and down as you play. It means the total of all your stakes must reach that figure.
Some offers count the deposit as well as the bonus, which increases the total considerably.
A worked example
Invented figures, for illustration only.
| Step | Detail |
|---|---|
| Bonus received | ৳500 |
| Requirement | 20x the bonus |
| Total to wager | ৳10,000 |
| Stake per spin | ৳20, so 500 spins |
| If live tables count at 10% | ৳10,000 in live bets clears only ৳1,000 of the requirement |
The rules that change the picture
Wagering never stands alone. These terms work alongside it.
- Game contribution: different games count by different percentages; see game contribution
- Maximum bet: exceeding it can void the bonus and winnings
- Expiry: unmet wagering after the deadline usually forfeits the bonus
- Order of funds: some sites use your real money first, others the bonus
- Withdrawal before completion may cancel the bonus
Tracking your progress
Many sites show wagering progress in the bonus or promotions section of your account. Check it on Mostplay rather than estimating. If you cannot find it, ask support how much is left.
If the requirement feels out of reach at your normal stakes, it is fine to forfeit the bonus and keep playing with your own money, or stop. Raising stakes to finish wagering faster is a classic way to overspend. Read bonus money vs real money, the deposit bonus maths and the bonus hub for more.
